Great News, David Shak, A person that I work with very closely has agreed to be a guest blogger in WilliamKusuma.com. Without thinking twice, I said ‘Yeah, GO AHEAD!!’ I have had experience with David and he’s a pleasant guy to work with. Very serious about the things that he does. Very very hard working guy…of course compared to me everyone is hardworking. : )…I think we have a common factor in book author as you all know I’ve been into Adam Khoo. So this article is dedicated to everyone with problem. (uhm..doesn’t that mean EveryONE???) : ) read away..

‘Everybody here has the ability to do absolutely anything I do and much more beyond. Some of you will and some of you won’t, it will be because you get in your own way, not the world doesn’t allow you’
– Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway.

I’ve been asked many times how to handle certain situation, where it is beyond our control. That caused us to lose something that is important to us (WK: “Sometimes I wonder why would you worry about other things if the one you want is REALLY that important, or maybe it isn’t THAT important for you?”). Well, I would say; I face the same thing too…many times in fact. So I would like to share, how to go through challenges that come to your life? What really inspired me was the book: ‘Master Your Mind Design Your Destiny’ by Adam Khoo. (Read the book man, change your LIFE! In his book:

Giving Excuse and Blaming Others Takes Power Away From You
When something doesn’t work in life, people choose (WK:”The keyword is CHOOSE”) to give excuses, blame others and complain. The problem with this is that by doing so, you are putting others in control of your life. You put yourself in the role of a victim. This is the key reason why most people feel totally helpless with no control over what is happening. (WK: “Again i think you choose to feel that way”)

They keep telling themselves, ‘the recession is to blame for my financial problems’, ‘because my stupid company and colleagues, I feel miserable everyday’, ‘I have no time to for myself, everyone keeps on hounding me’, (‘because of this, I can’t do that’, in my business, I meet people who say ‘oh no, other people can do that but i can’t because……’ (WK: “fill in the blank, but the point is still the same.”), ‘if only I have more time’) and so on, and so on.

People who believe themselves to be Victims say that the only way to be better is things around them get better or the environment improves. Now, is this really so? By continuing to play the Victim, you will be totally at the mercy of your environment. Guess what? Most of the time the outside world will not change… not until you change first!!

But why do so many people choose to be Victims? It is very easy to be in Victims Mode. Remember that while playing victim appears to have lots of payoffs, the cost of doing so is high because as long as we blame something or someone else, we rob ourselves of the power to take charge and change the situation. (WK:”Somehow I feel that people actually LIKE to be a victim”)

When faced with situation you need to take absolute responsibility. Absolute responsibility is not blaming yourself, it means, the choice (WK: “See, the word choice? That means it is up to you”) that you made in the past have contributed to your present situation. So instead of feeling bad, start looking into possibility and take control with your own hands.

Example: IF you have no time, take responsibility for the fact that you have not managed it effectively. Then ask, ‘What can I do to turn things around?’ (WK: “My experience is that people that don’t understand the concept of time management have this problem…recommend reading books and implementing it in your life.”)

By Adam Khoo

Success is 100% based on CHOICE, everyone have problems, problem is not a problem, is how we look into it. So start to take charge and gain the result that you want! It is just matter of CHOICE. Go Freedom!!

What an inspiring article. I believe every one of us in this world has the ability to change the way we look at things. Believe it or not, I have met a doctor that comes to work in the morning and goes back home in the day after in the evening. Guess what? He’s got a big business!! So, who says that this business if only for those who have time? That’s just a BELIEVE that you have. good thing about it is YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR BELIEVE!!
GO FREEDOM!!!
